About me

“Like a play, so is life: not how long it is, but how well it is acted, is what matters”
– Roman philosopher Lucius Annaeus Seneca –

I graduated in Decorative Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and as a Conservation Technician of works of art at the Engim Veneto in Vicenza, Italy.

Over the past 20 years I have cultivated a professional and creative path that had me involved in a constant production of mixed media artworks, that explore the technical experimentation of the different materials used and the use of a figurative alphabet that gradually loses its objective consistency to transform into more abstract and conceptual images.

During my years in Italy, I was lucky enough to collaborate with artists of different caliber and took part in cultural events, fairs and competitions managed by both gallery owners and cultural organizations in the art field.

Nourishing a deep passion for art, I continued to explore parallel sectors in which creative skills, knowledge of art history and artisanal techniques could be used and re-adapted in the field of Decorative Painting, Set Painting and Art Conservation and Restoration.

Thanks to this desire for exploration, I was able to collaborate with experts in the decorative painting sector, architects, designers, cabinet makers, set designers and art conservators, with whom and thanks to whom I was able to travel and increase my skills and knowledge in the various disciplines.

In 2016 I moved to the United States, where I began and consolidated contacts in the art world that still lead me today to work as an artist studio assistant and at the same time to curate independent visual art, decoration and restoration projects.

I hope you find this website interesting and stimulating. If you have any questions about my work, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
